Born in Los Angeles, Koko’s been creating music since two years of age…and has never looked back. At eleven, he started his first band (as a drummer) playing for family and friends. He became a Beatles fan, and changed his instrument to Guitar. At the age of twenty-one, Koko was asked to play Bass in an emergency situation…and fell in love with it. He started hitting the Hollywood hotspots where his career took off.

Koko now finds himself playing, writing, and recording with some of the best in the business.  He has toured with:
(Grammy winner) Edgar Winter, Spencer Davis, James deBarge, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Mickey Dolenz
Jara Harris (drums & vocals)  He currently plays with his band Slapbak as well as Donavon Frankenreiter. But he has also played or recorded with artists like Morris Day & The Time, Jordin Sparks, 112, Digital Underground, Alicia Keys, Michael Buble', En Vogue, Randy Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Crystal Lewis.

As a member of additional bands in Southern California, Koko has opened for:  The Temptations, The Ojays, The Wall Flowers, Tom Jones, The Four Tops, Little Feat, The Gypsy Kings, Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos, and The Beach Boys. Past performances include: Hugh Hefner’s birthday party, Sports Illustrated XXXVII Party, Drew Brees’ (New Orleans Saints Quarterback) wedding, San Diego Padres World Series Party, as well as World Wide Corporate Events for Sprint (Puerto Rico), Governor of Alaska (Seward Alaska) Hard Rock Hotel (Bali).
