Description
Gospel Christmas, an annual tradition, will return this year with a set list that includes December themed tunes from jazz greats such as Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. It features acclaimed vocalist Dr. Kim Nalley performing all your favorite holiday songs accompanied by beloved accompaniest Tammy Hall, Michael Zisman on bass and Kent Bryson on drums.
Dr. Nalley has invited special guests: gospel group Brown, Sturgis, and Brown and singer, Sheelagh Murphy to create an amazing evening of performance and a few sing-a-longs at this rollicking joyous family-friendly concert.
Dr. Kim Nalley is an internationally acclaimed jazz and blues vocalist, twice named San Francisco's best. She also has numerous acting credits on her resume including an engagement as Madame ZinZanni in Teatro ZinZanni and Zora Neal Hurston's SPUNK. Her CDs have been shortlisted for a Grammy Award and have charted in the Jazz Top 20. Her most recent album features The legendary soul-jazz saxophonist Houston Person.
