Cumulus
Alternative Rock
Cumulus is the creative outlet of songwriter Alex Lockhart, who released her 3rd record, "Something Brighter" in October of 2022 on Seattle label Share It Music. "Something Brighter" was selected by the Seattle Times as the #5 NW album release of 2022, and they were selected as a grantee of Sonic Guild Seattle class of 2023. Gratitude and the bittersweetness of learning from the past are in the DNA of every song that Lockhart writes. What a beautiful thing, to make mistakes and learn from them; to heal wounds, to love deeply, and to dance in your underwear. Working in collaboration with bandmate and writing partner William Cremin, the 4th Cumulus album is in development and they are hoping to reach fans' ears and turntables in early 2025.

Annie J delivers a close and personal blend of retro soul and modern pop. Her vocal mastery and presence as a performer make for a playful and moving display that pays homage to acts like Dusty Springfield, Whitney Houston, Janelle Monae, and Solange.
At times heartfelt and reserved, at times powerful and hard-hitting, Annie J’s sparkling voice and colorful style are uniquely hers.

Music
Low Hums are a musical collective of many that began their musical trip in 2009 in Seattle Washington. Maybe described as modern garage rock and roll psychedelia. We listen to the past, but we write about the now and the future.
“It’s the kind of music that makes you wanna move around. It doesn't just go up and down, but side to side and all around .. sounds like a killer mixtape.” - Mojo
“Where have you all been hiding out?“ - Rolling Stone
“Hey call us over next time” - NME
“I bet my mom and her hippy friends would dig this just as much as I am.” - NPR
Low Hums have released 5 full length LP’s, including two on Germany’s Kozmik Artifactz, the galactic tastemaker of psych/fuzz/stoner/rock. The latest release, titled “Zzyzx”, ( recorded / produced with Trevor Spencer who also worked on Father John Misty, Beach House, and many others in Woodenville’s Way Out studios. ) has seen airplay and fans from America, Europe, Mexico City, Ho Chi Minh City and all in between.
In an incredible turn of events, ‘Zzyzx’, the title of the latest full length LP comes to us via collective guitarist Miles Panto. While returning from Baja, his “Space Cruiser” ( seriously ! ) van gave up the snuff about an hour outside of Las Vegas at Zzyzx road. Instead of calling AAA he phoned HQ and said “HEY, I HAVE THE TITLE OF THE NEW RECORD. HOW ABOUT ZZYZX ! “

Alternative Country
Fredd Luongo
Fredd Luongo
Alternative Country
From epic road songs to tear-stained tales of heartache, Texas-style rockers to dark-humored murder ballads, the songwriting of frontman Fredd Luongo covers a lot of musical and emotional territory. Reminiscent of their alt-country forefathers Whiskeytown, Dwight Yoakam, and early Steve Earle, The Swearengens have held their own sharing the stage with contemporary alt-country stalwarts Sturgill Simpson, Lydia Loveless, Whitey Morgan and more, winning over appreciative new fans in the process. Whether headlining a Friday night at Seattle’s legendary Tractor Tavern, kicking off the final day of the Watershed Country Music Festival at the Gorge, or rocking all-night at your favorite roadside honky-tonk dive bar, The Swearengens and their loyal following of hard-drinking, outlaw swingin’ two-steppers are sure to get the dancefloor rolling and the whiskey flowing.

“I was alone, unpacking boxes in the strange old craftsman I rented a room in during my divorce. Out of nowhere my computer turned on and started playing Townes Van Zandt’s ‘For the Sake of the Song’. I shivered. I melted. I picked up my guitar and wrote ‘If Not The Man’”
Years later, in an "about damn time" kind of moment, Seattle based singer-songwriter Caitlin Sherman is stepping out solo. She’s had her fair share of collaborations over the years, most notably the cosmic psych rock of Evening Bell and the hazy noir of Slow Skate. As a songwriter and arranger in both projects, she also held the role of girlfriend and wife. Now she is neither.
Death To The Damsel is a meditation on love lost and independence found in the wake of back to back romantic/musical entanglements. Each song an act to unbind oneself from the past in order to look forward. There will be no White Knight to free the damsel. It’s high time she untie herself from those tracks and make a move. “Find me a fire, I’ll find the escape, an exit from all that we built an invisible stairway, hidden from shame for a quick getaway.” And so that “heroine without a hero needed” emerged with ten songs charting her own path. Dark contemplative songwriting explored through fresh unpredictable pop sensibility, dripping with art and purpose.
Longtime friend Colin J Nelson produced, mixed and engineered the album in his Fremont studio Her Car. And while past projects incorporated vast soundscapes and string arrangements written by Sherman herself, she made the decision to stick to a set band sound making sure the song itself was the centerpiece. The pair worked to carve out a sound that protected the intimacy of the lyric and emotion with a studio band that could react to those dynamic needs.
