Rolling Stone Magazine named their debut album“Missing Person” as THE album they recommended in the November 2020 print issue, calling Kelsy a “beacon for female rockstars”, highlighting their song“God Knows I’ve Tried”. The Foo Fighters also loved this song so much it was one of the handful of songs that they claimed inspired their 2021 record“Medicine At Midnight”. In January 2024, Kelsy Karter & The Heroines won theSpirit Award at the 12th Annual She Rocks Awards, recognizing Kelsy as a woman of great influence inthe rock n roll music scene today. The Heroines have been signed to Monster Energy Music since 2021. They are currently getting ready to release their second album - LOVE MADE ME DO IT - which has been described by the band as an electric and emotional adventure.
