The Alright Maybes' story begins at a 2020 Halloween party in Chicago. Founding and current members Angie Reinhart, Julian Daniell and Luke Ray decided to share the songs that had been living in their heads. A string of singles and EPs helped the band find their people, and secure opening slots for the likes of Heartless Bastards and Haley Reinhart.
