Ambient Pop
Kelsey Lu brings a rare four-night residency with Blue Note this April, unfolding in New York (April 16 & 17) and Los Angeles (April 25 & 26), with two performances nightly.
Born in North Carolina and based in New York City, Lu moves seamlessly between sound, image and performance, reshaping the possibilities of contemporary artistry. A composer, cellist, songwriter and producer, her work spans her acclaimed debut Blood and original scores for Netflix’s Daughters and A24’s Earth Mama, alongside collaborations that blur the boundaries between music, visual art and fashion.
With Blue Note, that expansive creative world draws inward. These intimate evenings offer a rare, close-quarters encounter with Lu as she begins to unveil new music, a powerful glimpse into the next phase of her evolving sound.
