Join Eastern Europe’s most sought after mezzo-soprano (understudy) and self-proclaimed “Godmother of Grunge” as she takes you on a musical voyage through the 1990’s as she remembers them. A decade spent mentoring young artists like Kurt Cobain, Cristina Agulerra, and the Bear Naked ladies in her Seattle home, the original Sound Garden. Under the coerced musical direction of Joe Wicht, journey with Auntie Katya to a time when “groove was in the heart”, the smell of teen spirit wafted in the wind, the streets were paved in plaid flannel, and no one dared to destroy your sweater, ironically or not.
