New Jersey native Katie Henry is a force of nature in the blues-rock world—multi-instrumentalist whose soulful vocals and sharp songwriting feel both timeless and refreshingly modern. Whether she is driving the groove from behind the keys or delivering a fiery guitar solo, her magnetic charisma and  live performances carry a raw, infectious energy that draws the audience right in—leaving crowds entirely spellbound (which might be exactly why they call her the "Voodoo Woman")! This undeniable stage energy has made her a rapidly rising festival favorite. As reviewers noted after a recent standout performance at the Johnstown Flood City Music Festival, "Katie Henry and her band rolled into town like a bluesy thunderstorm and blew the room away." That live power has fueled a whirlwind rise on international stages, driven by an artist who simply refuses to stand still. Proudly on the prestigious Ruf Records roster, she has quickly built a formidable discography. Her 2022 label debut, On My Way, skyrocketed to the Top 10 of the Billboard Blues Chart, while her latest release, Get Goin’ (2024)—produced by blues titan Bernard Allison—showcases a "runaway talent" (Classic Rock Magazine) at the peak of her powers. Having shared the stage with icons like John Mayall, Molly Tuttle, and Sister Sparrow, and participating in breakout tours in Europe like the Ruf Records 30th Anniversary Tour, Katie is now captivating audiences on her own terms. Her recent headline tour of Europe solidified what fans already knew: Katie Henry is not just a rising star, but a definitive voice in the future of American roots music.
