Alabama-born country crooner Kashus Culpepper encompasses the sound of the South. A student and reverent purveyor of Southern music–country, soul, blues, folk, and rock–Culpepper’s husky, sandpaper growl bellows like a freight train overself-penned stories that areas raw and real as they are haunting. Characterized by seamless vibrato,narrative-driven lyrics, and melodic arrangements, Austin-based Coleman Jennings has created a vigorous and distinct sound. Resembling that of traditional outlaw country paired with the upbeat progressions of classic rock, folk, and blues- Coleman has managed to fashion a sound that is inherently familiar , yet undeniably fresh. Before releasing a first album, Coleman has already managed to develop a dedicated fanbase thanks to his unique sound and wise-beyond-his-years songwriting. Coleman’s first solo EP, Wildflowers & Tears, was released in March 2024.
