Doom Metal
Kal-El
Kal-El
Doom Metal
Kal-El is a Tony Iommi approved Norwegian stoner rock band. These heavy rockers have released three full lengths alongside a pair of EP’s and toured both Europe and the States since their formation in 2012. The band is a product of diverse influences, and though they draw from the classics like Black Sabbath, Sleep and Motorpsycho, if one listens closely they can hear hints of thrash metal and Skandirock fleshing out the sound. It makes for a unique group who are determined to head out and take on the world. Formed out of a desire to experiment with new riffs, Kal-El rapidly rose to prominence with the release of Pakal in 2013. From there, a breakneck release schedule has served to set them in a league of their own. The band has already been invited backstage with Ozzy, supporting Brant Bjork and yes, getting a message of approval from Tony Iommi himself. They’re all just landmarks in a quest for stoner rock domination. Get ready for an exhilarating journey through the cosmos! Kal-El has just dropped their thrilling new space odyssey, 'Astral Voyager Vol. 1,' under the banners of Majestic Mountain Records & Blues Funeral Recordings!

Heavy Fuzzed out Psychedelic Rock from the desert of 29 Palms- “the best lo-fi mindf*ck since Monster Magnet’s 25…Tab” Revolver Magazine. For fans of the Stooges, Monster Magnet, Blue Cheer.
Requesting Permission To Land was recorded with the help of Mike McHugh (Train, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion). Each song was recorded in one or two takes to retain the original heart and soul of the piece. “it’s rock and roll. Not brain surgery” says Patrick of the recording process. The end result is a potent blend of thirty-plus minutes of psychedelic fuzzfest freakout and perhaps some of the rawest riffs you're likely to hear.
Having made one another's acquaintances through previous projects, Scott Reeder (Fu Manchu) stepped in to lend his drumming expertise to the recording session. Reeder plays like an absolute madman on the album and particularly shines on "Don’t Look Around.
Requesting Permission To Land met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Dardevil.de stated “throw your ‘Spine of God’ copy in the trash and let Volume land in your CD player.” Hellride Music shouted that it was “more Kramer than Kramer these days”. If you like straight up fuzzed out psychedelic rock sit back and let Volume spin your head!

Idol Lord
Idol Lord

The origins of Idol Lord began on the south bay beaches just south of Los Angeles, where the sounds of Black Flag, The Circle Jerks and RKL were as common as Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, and Black Oak Arkansas. Forged by surf, skate, punk, metal and classic rock, the members slowly started moving northward into the less densely populated area of the high desert of northern Los Angeles county.
Based out of the small, high desert community of Quartz Hill, Ca. Idol Lord has fused it’s classic rock childhood, punk rock adolescence and metal adulthood into it’s own unique brand of fuzzed out stoner/desert rock.

Space Rock
Floating aimlessly, through the dark expanse of the universe, there appeared a cosmic horror. An evil sludge, of eternal magnitude, with the sole purpose of spreading its reach into every aching corner of the known universe and beyond the limits of human comprehension. Through the minds, bodies, and souls of 4 individuals on earth, the cosmic sludge began to infect the masses of this forsaken dying planet.
King Ghidra is a Space Prog band formed by Ricky Ureño (guitar & vocals), Juan Silva (guitar & vocals), Albert (synth), Erik Figueroa (bass) and, Ryan Alonso (drums) in August 2023. Named after Godzilla's iconic rival, they released their debut album, "Abstractions of the Universe" on October 23rd 2024. It is a tribute to space age sci-fi and the classic metal, psychedelia, and prog of the 70s. Many of the lyrics were inspired by classic sci-fi movies like Predator, Godzilla, & 2001: A Space Odyssey. King Ghidra prides itself on their diy approach to music production. The entire project was recorded in a garage, on a shoestring budget using whatever gear they can find. It was self produced, being mixed in a bedroom. This approach led to a very refreshing sound in their respective scene. King Ghidra not only excels in the studio but live as well, delivering energetic and engaging experiences for all stoners, freaks, and weirdos to enjoy.
Witness the cosmic horror. Infect the masses. Conquer the universe. King Ghidra.
