HOUSTON IMPROV is located in the Marq’E Entertainment Center, across from the Edward’s Theater. We are an intimate venue with a full bar & restaurant, where you can enjoy performances of world renowned and local comics alike.

Taneshia ‘Just Nesh’ Rice is a Chicago-born comedian, writer, and producer known for her fearless storytelling, sharp wit, and unapologetic humor. Her boundless energy and easily relatable nature make her a hit for audiences across the country.
She first gained national attention on Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City, which led to her own half-hour special, The Next Level. Since then, she's appeared on All Def Comedy, Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks, Mo'Nique & Friends: Live from Atlanta, Nate Jackson's Super Funny Comedy Jam, BET ComicView Rooftop Series, Hulu's LOL Live, and Comics Unleashed.
Her self-produced one-hour special, Self Served, highlighted her innovative approach to standup and continues to prove she is one of comedy's most original and exciting voices.
