Jurana is a Nashville-based alt rock band rooted in 90s modern grunge and confessional songwriting. Drawing inspiration from artists like Alanis Morissette, Soundgarden, Fiona Apple, Joan Jett, Garbage, PJ Harvey, Hole, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and early Avril Lavigne, their sound fuses moody guitar textures with emotionally cutting lyrics and a polished edge. Originally a solo project by frontwoman Alexa Jurana, Jurana became a full band Summer 2025, now writing and producing as a collective. With shades of Fleetwood Mac’s melodic storytelling, musicality of Soundgarden, and the gritty honesty of Hole, Jurana brings vulnerability and bite to every track - offering a fresh take on rock that’s both nostalgic and fiercely current.
