Jude’s musician father cringed as Jude mastered the popular video game Guitar Hero at age 11, fearing that he would never be able to make the transition from buttons on a fret board to an actual guitar.  But, time would prove those fears to be far from the truth.  Trained first as a classical pianist, Jude rapidly migrated his ear-training and understanding of music theory to guitar with uncanny ease.  Music became like breathing to Jude in his teenage years and he found himself inhaling the music of 1970s artists like George Benson, Michael Jackson, and Steely Dan. Raised in church, Jude frequently found himself comfortably on stage playing and leading while filling roles on drums, bass, guitar and keyboards while developing his pop soul vocal abilities.  Jude naturally progressed into the world of songwriting and self-recorded his first self titled EP at age 19. Jude has garnered a large following on Instagram and is currently performing live in venues across the country. His self produced, written, and performed music, amassing over 3,000,000 streams worldwide, shines a blend of Blue-eyed Soul/Pop, mixed with influences from 70’s and 80’s—all centered around his guitar playing and voice as a songwriter. His music theory “genius” subtly and tastefully surprises listeners whether they are listening online or at one of his live shows.
