    Latin Jazz

    Featuring Juan Fer Ruiz, a Medellín-born clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, and poet, whose music is deeply contemporary and original. His work blends Colombian roots with jazz improvisation, interwoven with his own poetry, creating a distinctive and expressive sound. 

    Alongside him is Camila Cortina Bello, a Cuban-born pianist, composer, and educator. Her music bridges ancestral memory and contemporary expression, drawing from Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz improvisation, and classical forms. 

    This project brings together original compositions by Camila Cortina, inspired by the poetry of Juan Fer Ruiz. The result is a rich musical dialogue shaped by Latin American rhythms and the evolving language of modern jazz.
