"I am a Song-Singer. I sing these songs."
Panther came from the wild northern woods of Wisconsin and made her way down to Chicago to prowl the streets, coffee shops, bars, and music venues. Many people told her to do something more sensible. Maybe they were right, but she couldn't do anything else. Tonight she will play you wild songs about being absolutely impractical and deliriously alive.
From humble roots and months spent tucked away in his room, Sean McConnell finally unveils his craft. After a brief spell of living in the South, the songwriter returned to Chicago hell-bent on developing his project. Through a network of friends and kind strangers, McConnell built an eclectic mixture of sounds. Via a few performances playing lead guitar in the Chicago based outfit Paleo, McConnell fell in love with the idea of a large band which is very apparent on his debut tracks. With honest lyrics and simple progressions he reminds us that genuine music still exists. His ability to honestly detail the world he experiences is a friendly reminder that despite the band name, the world isn't such a cold place
