Grand Rapids songwriter/guitarist Adam Main’s 2024 album ‘Nights and Weekends’ featured the Kalamazoo based music veterans who collectively became The Joy Modulators in 2025. Classically trained bassist Anders Dahlberg, world percussionist Carolyn Koebel, violinist Cori Beth Somers and vocalist  Patti Ann McNulty will join Main in performance at the Tip Top Deluxe on 12/18/25. The band is currently in the middle of recording a new album titled “Tumble Dry Low.” The show will feature Main’s new original material which he describes as “genre jumping from chamber folk to acoustic jam band to electric blues.”   “In a time where artists are looking to cut costs in the studio and in their live-show experience, it is always welcome and refreshing to see an artist such as Grand Rapids guitarist Adam Main delight in collaborating with so many folks.
