We think most of you know by now how much Jon Cleary means to us at Chickie Wah Wah, not to mention the entire the city of New Orleans.  He is a dedicated student as well as a master of the genre of New Orleans funk and R&B.  Though we are lucky enough to have him play our club frequently, he only rarely plays with the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, but on Thursday April 30th at 8pm, they will be throwing down the funk for Jon’s only appearance at Chickie for our 2026 Fest-o-Matic series. Come see masters at work!
