Comedy
Founded by Sheriff Eric Fagan and Captain Kevin Hunt, “Jokes and Justice” is a comedy and poetry showcase geared towards an adult audience, which provides members of the local community with the opportunity to come out and enjoy comedy for a good cause. The Houston Improv has opened their doors as the official venue for this event for the past eight years. Since its inception the “Jokes and Justice”, comedy and poetry showcase has made strides within Houston and the local Fort Bend County community. The ultimate goal of this event is to promote social fellowship within the local community including local law enforcement agencies, local businesses, and our proud local citizens. Over the past eight years, Jokes & Justice has had the pleasure of being able to provide over $90,000 in scholarships to deserving young teens, provide uniforms for local youth sports organizations, sponsor banquets for J.R.O.T.C. programs, along with a number of additional worthy causes that help to invest in young people.
