She is presently working on new CD with Maestro John Di Martino on piano. John di Martino is New Yorks top composer, pianist, arranger, producer and educator. He is described as a “shape-shifter’ for his creativity across musical genres. Nanny Assis – Bahia – a master of Bossa Nova, forro and a myriad of African Brazilian sounds. Nanny has won best male vocalist and best show in NYC also a Lifetime achievement in Brazilian Jazz. Nannys energy will move the audience to dance, he produced ToDo Amor and recently performed with a 64 piece orchestra his music from his CD Double Rainbow. He is soon to release his latest CD. The trio are joined by Aaron Serfaty on drums, one of La’s most prolific musicians. And Kevin O’Neil on Bass also a wonderful talented musician based in LA.
