John Anaya is an award winning songwriter (2015 Akademia Best Folk EP, 2019 Danny Kyle Award, Celtic Connections) residing in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is founding musician and musical director of the award winning (Best Of Fringe 2012, Highest rated childrens show 2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe) theatrical shows "Devil in the Deck" and "The I Hate Children Children's Show" and has been a performer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2010. He is also part of the Fleetwood Folk and Blues Festival, Fleetwood UK and The Leith Jazz and Blues Festival rotations yearly. John tours the UK and Europe and performs full time in Edinburgh. He has released 9 albums since 2002. His latest release "Change Will Come" showcase's his growth as a songwriter since moving to Edinburgh in 2016 and features some of the vibrant folk scenes best players.
