Joe Wong has certainly come a long way from his home in China, but he quickly found a new home in the Boston comedy scene, and after several successes, the Boston Comedy Festival is privileged to have him for one night at the Hard Rock Cafe. An immigrant in the mid-90’s, Joe eventually made his way to Boston in 2001 to pursue his comedy career and became an instant favorite among crowds and comics alike. Joe put his name on the map with a run in the 2003 Boston Comedy Festival that took him to the top 8 finalists. From here, Joe has made appearances on David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, and takes his act all over the US and even back to China! Presently, Joe has made his second appearance on Letterman and is also performed for the President. Joe’s quirkiness and timing make him one of the most adept comics to come out of Boston; the sky is the limit for this budding talent in comedy.
