Jive Talk, Crumbsnatchers, Travollta

  • Jive Talk

    Jive Talk

    Alternative

Jive Talk began as the project of longtime friends Oliver Pierce (lead vocals/guitar), Isaac Middleton (guitar/synth/vocals), and Ben Dunn (bass/vocals). After working long-distance for some time, the group solidified in the winter of 2021 in Nashville and added members Philip Walker (drums/vocals) and Andres Ahogado (guitar/synth/vocals). Since then the group has exploded onto the local scene, capturing audiences with their engaging and high energy live performances.

Their 2021 EP “high waisted” saw two singles, “Sue” and “The Wallflowers” quickly receive airplay on Nashville’s famed Lightning 100 radio. They’ve quickly been growing fans and friends with performances at Tomato Art Fest, The Basement, The 5 Spot, Springwater and were dubbed The 5 Spot’s new favorite band in 2021! Jive Talk has much more in the works. Stay tuned…
  • Crumbsnatchers

    Crumbsnatchers

    Blues-Rock

The first time Guetts, the band's eccentric front man, heard the term "crumb snatcher" was in reform school. A staff member named Chris bobo would occasionally refer to some of delinquents as "CrumbSnatchers." When Guetts asked him what that meant, Bobo said that a CrumbSnatcher is a wild, rambunctious child who refuses to behave. Though it comes off an insult, we found something endearing about the term. A few years later when the band was having success writing, it was time to come up with a name, and we thought that wild and crazy kids perfectly fit the attitude of the music we were writing.

  • Travollta

    Travollta

    Alternative

Nashville musicians Atticus Swartwood and Andy Heath (Tayls, Molly Rocket, Chalaxy)
were just walking around minding their own damn business one day when they overheard a
wonderful new sound. Peeking into an abandoned car wash, they saw two helmeted individuals
blasting out infectious dance jams from equipment they did not recognize. The two introduced
themselves as Coolio Heart and Radical Dex Rowdyhouse, founding members of the cosmically
    infamous musical group Travollta.
The new group became fast friends, and while Travollta kept playing banger after
banger, it became apparent that the newcomers had little to no idea how to navigate 21st
century society. Swartwood and Heath agreed to assist the group, managing and producing
their first single - a tribute to the group’s favorite beverage - “Topo Chico.”
Now based out of Nashville, Tennessee, the group is looking to spread their flavor of
catchy dance-punk as wide as legally possible. Just don’t ask them for ID.
