​Jesse McBride is a prominent jazz pianist, composer, and educator deeply rooted in New Orleans' musical heritage. A graduate of Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, McBride studied under jazz luminaries such as Harold Battiste and Ellis Marsalis. He is renowned for his leadership of "The Next Generation," a jazz ensemble dedicated to mentoring emerging musicians and preserving the legacy of modern New Orleans jazz. ​ As a Senior Professor of Practice in Black American Music at Tulane University's Newcomb Department of Music, McBride directs jazz ensembles and curates the "Thursday Night Jazz" concert series, fostering a vibrant community for jazz performance and education.  His commitment to nurturing young talent and honoring the traditions of Black American Music has solidified his role as a vital figure in the New Orleans jazz scene.​ Shows at 7:30pm & 9:30pm  Doors at 7:00pm & 9:00pm  Restaurant is Open 5pm - 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime: Advance Ticket Holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com ! However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
