COLUMBUS, OHIO, June 10, 2023 –Jesse Blankenship is proud to announce the upcoming  release of Bad News Comin’ Round, the highly anticipated full band follow up to his 2021 solo  cd Hillbilly Side of Town. The 10 tracks on Bad News Comin’ Round fuse the spirit of old  country with elements of Americana, blues, honky-tonk and rock underneath Blankenship’s  classic storyteller lyrics.   Based in Columbus Ohio, the Jesse Blankenship Band consists of Jesse Blankenship on acoustic  guitar and lead vocals, along with veteran musicians John Estep (acoustic and lead guitar,  mandolin, harmony vocals), Don Cornwell (drums, percussion, and harmony vocals), and Dick  Falcone (Bass). All four hailed from various bands and genres in the Central Ohio Music Scene  before coming together in 2021.   The band will celebrate the CD release on July 15, 2023 in Columbus at Woodlands Tavern.   Bad News Comin’ Round will be available July 2023 on Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube and other  streaming services.
