Jeremy Pelt Bio: Prolific as both a leader and first-call collaborator, the lyrical and swinging horn player is also a master of beautiful, lush ballads and inventive compositions. He has appeared with such legends as Nancy Wilson, Cedar Walton, Louis Hayes, Jimmy Heath, and Ralph Peterson and large ensembles including Mingus Big Band, Roy Hargrove Big Band, and the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra. Pelt has recorded more than 20 critically acclaimed albums as a leader, interpreting material uniquely and masterfully at every live performance.
