Matty Fontana is a LA based comedian and actor born and raised in South Boston Massachusetts. He’s performed all over the country and around LA on some of the best stages. He’s the creator of the Comedy Cottage show as well as co-creator of Jenny Johnson & Matty Fontana’s Starting Lineup here at the Improv.

Jenny Johnson is a comedian and writer who gained an audience from her popular Twitter account. She spent 12 years producing sports and television in Austin, San Antonio and Houston before making the move to Los Angeles to pursue her comedy career. Jenny has sold pilots to ABC, FOX and HBO. she is a frequent contributor to GQ and Esquire. Along with writing she performs stand up shows in Los Angeles and tours frequently with Nick Swardson, Whitney Cummings, Anthony Jeselnik and Brad Williams. Jenny has appeared on Drunk History, The Mick, Joe Rogan Experience, The Josh Wolf Show, Red Eye, Liza On Demand, Valerie Bertinelli’s Home Cooking and @midnight. She co-hosts the Doin’ It with Danny and Jenny podcast with Modern Family executive producer Danny Zuker. She has been nominated for a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Social Media Star the past 4 years and is the reigning Queen of Twitter following the National Lampoon Twitter Awards. Jenny gained almost half a million follows on Twitter with her unique brand of comedy. Jenny can be scene performing around Los Angeles at The Improv, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory. Cristela Alonzo made history when she became the first Latina to create, produce and star in her own network sitcom, ‘Cristela’ for ABC. Cristela made history again when she became the first Latina lead in a Disney Pixar film when she voiced the character of Cruz Ramirez in ‘Cars 3’. Cristela has subsequently appeared in numerous films and TV shows, such as HBO’s ‘His Dark Materials’ and Stephen Soderbergh’s ‘The Laundromat.’ She has appeared on late night shows such as Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman and Stephen Colbert, and numerous talks shows and game shows as well as being a host on ABC’s ‘The View’. Her first stand-up special, Lower Classy, is currently streaming on Netflix, along with her more recently released second stand-up special, ‘Middle Classy’. Cristela has also released a memoir, ‘Music to My Years,’ with Simon & Schuster Publishing. In it, Alonzo shares personal stories of growing up as a first-generation Mexican-American in Texas and following her dreams to pursue a career in showbusiness. In 2025, Cristela will shoot her 3rd Netflix stand up special, tentatively titled “Upper Classy”.

Danny Jolles is George on Crazy Ex-Grilfriend! Danny Jolles is a comedian based out of LA. As a stand up comedian, he has appeared in the Laughing Skull Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and was the runner-up in the LA March Comedy Madness competition out of 200 LA comics. Danny's stand up features stories of awkwardness, modern dating and social progress. As a sketch comedian, Danny's sketch groups Chess Club Comedy and Sasquatch Sketch have garnered millions of views online. His sketches have been featured on Tosh.0, MTV, and Funny or Die. Danny will also be the host of the upcoming interview show "Danny Has Problems" on the Above Average network. Danny also wrote on the show "Friends Of The People" which airs on TruTV. As an actor, Danny has appeared in 7 commercials in the past year, some of which you may have seen, and can be seen in the upcoming film Ithaca directed by Meg Ryan. Danny also once opened for Aaron Carter, which is way cooler than everything else you just read.

Dave tours heavily. In addition to his own shows,  he has been a support act on several of Bert Kreischer’s tours over the past few years, including the inaugural Fully Loaded Comedy Tour, the Hot Summer Nights tour, & the Berty Boy Relapse Tour. Those included stops at legendary venues like Red Rocks, The Greek, & The Grand Ol’ Opry.  His second album, “Trying My Hardest” was released by Stand Up! Records and reached #1 in the iTunes Charts for Comedy.  He is obsessed with BBQ, and hosts the popular podcast “Meat Dave”.  Which is appropriate, since Dave is a storyteller that will remind you of that one dad who holds court on football Sunday while standing over a hot grill with a cold beer.  Dave has also been a guest on The Adam Carolla Podcast, IDKAT w/ Jim Jeffries, & the Bertcast. Shortly after being named “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months of touring. This trip was documented in a series of shorts on Nickelodeon.  He has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival, making the finals or "Best of The Fest" in the World Series of Comedy, Boston Comedy Festival, San Francisco Comedy Competition, Big Sky Comedy Festival, the SLO Comedy Festival, and several others.

Hot off his memorable debut performance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Lachlan Patterson has one of the most recognizable working comedians in the Stand Up world today. With Festival invitations from Austin Montreal Aspen Michigan Vancouver and Nova Scotia there is no shortage of stage time for this brilliant young performer. On Comedy Central you can find Lachlan performing on the series Live at Gotham or on the Comedy Network where he filmed his uproarious half hour special. Most recently, Sarah was featured on the big hit show Roast Battle on Comedy Central in which she was the runner-up in a field of 16 other comics at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. She is a regular on @Midnight on Comedy Central, regular on Chelsea Lately, regular/writer on The Josh Wolf Show on CMT, regular at “ignoring red flags.” Writer for Jeff Ross and The Burn, Host of the Roast of Justin Beiber Red Carpet, Host of the CMA’s Red Carpet. These are the things you know about Sarah Tiana. What you don’t know is Sarah Tiana has been a “working” comedian/ex-waitress in Los Angeles since 2003. Originally from Calhoun, GA, Sarah's act emphasizes the thrills of growing up after “The War Of Northern Aggression” and trying to survive in the current battle of the sexes. She doesn’t call herself “single,” (she’s too old for that), she prefers to be called “sexually active.” Sarah’s big break came after she was recognized for her "breakout performance" as Carmen in four episodes of Reno 911's 7th season. In 2005, she helped create a sketch comedy company called The Strait Jacket Society as a way to help young actors in Hollywood accelerate their stage time and gain exposure while still having fun (she has currently put over 500 actors through the program). A downright ‘Merican, Sarah has done over 12 tours of comedy for the troops including Germany, Singapore, Afghanistan, Guam, Okinawa, and several Wounded Warrior Facilities. A trip to Iraq at the beginning of the war is highlighted in the documentary film, "We Love You Mrs. Bevins.” She has been a correspondent on “The Soup Investigates” as well as “Love You, Mean It” starring Whitney Cummings. An avid sports fan, Sarah wrote for the ESPY awards and the Rob Riggle NFL segments on FOX.
