    * Jen Foster is an award-winning singer/songwriter who has built her own label, Fosterchild Records, into a successful business since 2004. With 3 official studio releases exceeding sales of 50,000 units, Jen has gained a passionate international fan base through touring and connecting with fans.     * Jen's song "Venice Beach" is the theme song for the Emmy-Award Winning series, "VENICE", which is a spin-off from the CBS soap opera "The Guiding Light".     * In June of 2009, Jen kicked off her songwriter series - "The Writer's Share" - at the Bluebird Cafe. The series was created in honor of Jen's mother, Mary Alice Foster, who passed away from endometrial cancer in 2008. All proceeds from the events go to raise money for the TJ Martell Foundation for Cancer, AIDS, and Leukemia Research. The events feature Jen, along with hit songwriters and artists such as Richard Marx, Keb' Mo, Mike Reid, Chuck Cannon, Lari White, Deanna Bryant, Gordie Sampson, Chris Tompkins, Michael Garvin, and others.

    * In October, 2009, Jen was elected as the artist/writer representative to the board of Nashville Songwriters Association International. This board consists of some of the very best - and most successful - songwriters in music: Jessi Alexander ("The Climb", Miley Cyrus) Rivers Rutherford ("Homewrecker", Gretchen Wilson), Danny Wells ("Check Yes Or No", George Strait), Clay Mills ("Don't Think I Don't Think About It", Darius Rucker), Byron Hill ("Fool-Hearted Memory", George Strait), Steve Bogard ("Damn Your Eyes", Etta James), and many others. NSAI is committed to protecting the rights and future of the profession of songwriting, and to educate, elevate, and celebrate the songwriter and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large.

    * Over the past few years, Jen has been honored to co-write with some of the most renowned songwriters in the industry, including Jeffrey Steele ("What Hurts The Most", "My Wish"), Liz Rose (“Teardrops on My Guitar”), Mike Reid (“I Can't Make You Love Me”), Kristen Hall of Sugarland ("Baby Girl", “Stay”), and others.

    * Jen has had numerous film/tv placements, including MTV's wildly popular show, "The Hills", feature films, "American Pie: Beta House" and "Elena Undone", the popular soap opera "All My Children", and, most recently, several multi-media placements, including the theme music for the newly released web series “Venice” and a feature in the popular book, “Meeting in the Ladies Room” by Linda Woods and Karen Dinino with Pamela Detlor, alongside such pop culture icons as Rosie O'Donnell, Jan Arden, Amanda Palmer, Sarah Bettens, and SheDAISY.
