Debbie Torres is a jazz pianist who was born into a musically gifted family in Rochester, New York and raised in the Philippines. She had a first piano lessons from her mother, Professor Aurora Aquino Torres. She studied the electronic organ under Professor Carmencita Arambulo at the Greenhills Music Studio. She won first place in many Yamaha organ competitions by the age of 12 and began performing at numerous venues at the age of 15. Debbie Torres graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, majoring in Jazz Composition and Arranging. After returning to Manila, she performed with popular jazz bands at major hotels. In 2017, Debbie renewed her passion for jazz music with acclaimed performances at venues throughout Los Angeles, CA. Some of her recent unforgettable performances include:  “Jazzy Night with Debbie Torres and Friends” at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles in Glendale, CA  “A Valentine’s Night of Hearts Fusion with Debbie Torres” at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles in Glendale, CA  “Debbie Torres & the All-Stars Band” at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, CA   “Debbie Torres with the All-Star Band” at the Vibrato Grill Jazz in Bel-Air, CA Debbie has shared the stage with luminaries such as Ray Fuller, Luis Conte, Darrell Crooks, Sekou Bunch, and other world-class musicians. With a wide repertoire of standards, jazz fusion, and contemporary jazz, she dazzles audiences with her distinct and passionate style and artistry.
