    James Supercave

    Alternative Rock

“James Supercave combine pysch-pop aesthetics with a pop sensibility to create an artsy hybridized sound much like Alt-J or MGMT” (Kevin Bronson, Buzzbands.LA). With their debut Album, Better Strange, earning multiple “Best Album” awards, sold out shows on both coasts, and opening slots for some of the nation’s biggest artists, James Supercave have earned the respect and admiration of music fans and critics across the country. In 2014 they released their first single, “Burn”, which claimed ‘Track of the Day’ from LA tastemaker KCRW. The following year their debut EP, The Afternoon, sparked great praise and opened the door for James Supercave to play major festivals and tour across the west coast. In 2016, James Supercave followed their EP with their debut album, Better Strange. They then hit the road on a national tour, followed by headline slots at local festival staples, and a sold out co-headline west coast tour wrapping up 2017. Building up their fan base with their new single, “Something To Lose”, released April 2018- James Supercave embarked on a California Tour selling out venues along the way.  Now Supercave are primed with more singles and an EP coming out later this year.

    The Gloomies

    Alternative

To put it simply, The Gloomies were created out of bits of dust … an infamous chthonian hellhole that should have been wiped of the map far before it reached the listeners ear. The Southern California duo understands the importance of feeling alive amongst the darkness of broken and vivid realities that encompass the dualities of human interaction. The Gloomies' Andy Craig creates a meteoric sound that instills both the hypnotic vibe of Southern California beach days and the grungy jazz that infiltrate the streets of New York City. The ominous, yet, catchy melodies provide a moody atmosphere for any listener. Their popularity began to rise in the end of 2015 with the single, “LSD”, and their release off the EP “Blackout” in 2016. Growth continued in 2017 with the release of their latest single “Space” featuring Madeline Follin of NYC indie-pop duo Cults.

Front man Andy Craig and drummer Chris Trombley began their music career together when they met in 2013 and played in the band SACCO. They have since created songs that exhibit a layer of fantastical and hypnotic themes. This in turn bolstered their popularity with their fan base in that they feature a darker, sultrier vibe than their previous work.

Fast-forward to the present… The Gloomies will release their long-awaited highly anticipated debut album Romance in Summer 2018 via Thrill Me.

    PYNKIE

    Dream Pop

New Jersey’s Lindsey Rae Radice aka PYNKIE first came to my attention on SoundCloud (obviously) and I was immediately captivated by her airy voice and drippy, almost druggy, pop ballads. She’s been recently getting a lot of love and attention from blogs who are also enchanted by her music which is almost always described as dreamy because the music is, well, pretty dreamy. It’s pretty crazy how good this album is and we’re pretty sure everyone is going to be freaking out over it. Sometimes she sounds like the prettiest parts of Ween, sometimes like a 90’s alternative ballad, sometimes with a lite late-nite English New Wave. So many delightful feelings and sounds interwoven throughout the record. Jangling and so breezy. Soft guitars, breathy synths, tight little drums, and her unbelievable voice. There's so many things that could be said about ‘neoteny’ but words fail. This is entrancing music."
