Guitarist and Songwriter Jim Duckett began playing at any early age. His first band was “The Surviving Few”, in NYC in 1966. Vince Martin, a huge influence, got him his first real paying gig at The Gaslight South in Coconut Grove, Fla., in 1967. Jim has played in many groups up and down both Coasts of the US. His current recordings run the gamut from Folk, Country-Rock, and Blues. In addition to solo work, he is also performing with “The James Boys” locally, as well as playing bass with “The Totally UnRehearsed Band”. A lovely evening of folk music from the James Boys.
