Jack and the Optimist's "Mad About You" Vinyl Release Show Opener Drew Joseph Jack and the Optimists is the main music project of Cleveland musician Jack McLaughlin. Jack has been a fixture in the Cleveland alternative scene since the late 2010s. Jack released his first solo album "Clementine" in May of 2022, and released the first Jack & the Optimists album "Shades Of You" in November of 2023. With a current lineup of Jack McLaughlin on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Patrick McLaughlin on Bass and vocals, and Brian Randall on Drums and vocals, they've been playing several Cleveland venues and opening up for national acts such as Mike Viola, EXTC (of XTC), McKinley James, and The Thing. Jack is currently working on his third album and has just released his latest single “Mad About You”!
