Country-Blues
Webb Wilder
Webb Wilder
Country-Blues
Long before there were Kings of Leon, Keys of Black or Whites of Jack in Music City there was a riddle spewing prophet of roots rock and roll. A bluesy blast of baritone bombast. Equally versed in two glorious worlds, Rock and Roll. He is a force on tour and a tour de force. He is the last of the Full Grown Men and Roots Rock Royalty.
A native of Hattiesburg, Wilder crafted his signature brand of "Mid-Atlantic" (British and American) rock and roll, mixed with Country, Blues and Soul. The band’s 1986 debut album, It Came from Nashville, was named one of the 50 Best Southern Rock Albums of All-Time by Paste Magazine in 2018. Webb’s engaging personality led him to become one of America’s first Satellite DJs on XM Radio. He’s now a DJ and the host of the Americana Countdown show on WMOT radio/Nashville as well as continuing his three decade career as an Electrifying Artist on stages worldwide. Webb was honored to participate in Shemekia Copeland’s recent Grammy nominated LP “Uncivil War” co-writing and performing on the track “She Don’t Wear Pink.” His newest release is “Night Without Love” released in 2020 on Landslide Records.

A Louisiana native, now 25-year East Nashville resident, Kevin Gordon is a performing songwriter currently recording the follow-up to his 2018 release, Tilt and Shine. His albums have garnered high critical praise in The New York Times, USA Today, Rolling Stone, and many others. The title track from Down to the Well, a duet with Lucinda Williams, was featured on the Oxford American Southern Music Sampler. Those who've recorded his songs include Keith Richards, Levon Helm, Hard Working Americans (Todd Snider), Irma Thomas, Webb Wilder, and others. Julie Christensen (Flesh Eaters, Leonard Cohen) releases "11 from Kevin: Songs of Kevin Gordon", a new album comprised entirely of her versions of Gordon's songs, in January 2022. Kevin also holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.

Tommy Womack is a songwriter and an author. He won the “Best Song” award in the Nashville Scene Critics Poll twice. His three books (including Cheese Chronicles, which he's been told is a cult classic) have four and five-star reader ratings on Amazon. Womack has written songs for Todd Snider, Jimmy Buffett, Jason & the Scorchers, Dan Baird and others. He played in Government Cheese from ’85 to ’92, in the bis-quits (with Will Kimbrough) from ’92 to ’94, and had the honor of making a record for John Prine’s label. He has made eight solo albums since then (counting this new one) and three albums with a side project band called Daddy (again with Will Kimbrough).
