Steve Seskin
Country
Steve Seskin is a successful songwriter who has written seven number one songs, including Grammy-nominated “Grown Men Don’t Cry,” as recorded by Tim McGraw, and “Don’t Laugh at Me,” winner of NSAI Song of the Year and Music Row Magazine Song of the Year as recorded by Mark Wills. His other #1 hits are “No Doubt About It” and “For a Change,” both recorded by Neal McCoy, “No Man’s Land” and “If You’ve Got Love,” both recorded by John Michael Montgomery and “Daddy’s Money,” recorded by Ricochet.
Other chart toppers include “I Think About You” recorded by Colin Raye and “All I Need To Know” by Kenny Chesney.
Born and raised in NYC, his first exposure to music was sitting beside his mom while she played piano and sang Broadway show tunes. When he was 12, the Beatles came to America and the music bug bit him for good. He moved to California when he was 20 and has lived in the SF Bay Area for almost 50 years, performing at clubs, festivals and house concerts along the way. He thinks of himself as a songwriter/teacher/singer in that order and loves all aspects of his musical life equally.

Gretchen Peters
Gretchen Peters
Singer-Songwriter
For two decades, Gretchen Peters has been one of Nashville’s most beloved and respected artists. “If Peters never delivers another tune as achingly beautiful as ‘On A Bus To St. Cloud,'” People Magazine wrote, “she has already earned herself a spot among country’s upper echelon of contemporary composers.” Inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in October 2014 by singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell, who called her “both a songwriter and a poet (who) sings as beautifully as she writes,” and said her song “The Matador”, “moved me so greatly, I cried from the soles of my feet”, Peters has accumulated accolades as a songwriter for artists as diverse as Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, The Neville Brothers, Patty Loveless, George Strait, Bryan Adams and Faith Hill. Her song “Independence Day”, recorded by Martina McBride, won a CMA Song of the Year award in 1995. She has been nominated for 2 Grammys (“Independence Day/Martina McBride, “You Don’t Even Know Who I Am”/Patty Loveless), a Golden Globe (“Here I Am”/Bryan Adams), and numerous other awards. Her 2015 album, ‘Blackbirds’ was awarded International Album of the Year and Song of the Year by the UK Americana Association. In 2015, The Telegraph named her one of the greatest 60 female singer-songwriters of all time. In 2021, she was awarded The Poets Award by the Academy of Country Music “for outstanding and longstanding musical and lyrical contributions throughout her career.” Her latest album, The Night You Wrote That Song: The Songs of Mickey Newbury, is a loving tribute to another Hall of Fame songwriter and a profound influence on Peters’ own writing.

Lauren Weintraub
Lauren Weintraub
Singer-Songwriter
An evocative, musical storyteller with songwriting craft well beyond her age, Lauren left her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, to answer the calling of Nashville's music community and attend the Curb College of Entertainment at Belmont University in 2017. The recognition of her songwriting and artistry quickly spilled out from the campus and through Nashville’s famed Music Row, where she began to receive critical recognition from all corners.
In 2018, Lauren won first place in The Recording Academy’s Grammy U songwriting contest for her solo written song, “Careful Now.” Earlier this year, her performance of her song “If You Were Gonna Leave Anyway” was featured as part of NPR’s Tiny Desk contest series and given their “Top Shelf” designation representing the best songs heard this year by NPR’s panel of judges, which included Grammy® winner, Jason Isbell. Nashville Songwriters
Association International also named Lauren "One To Watch" and she separately received honorable mention in their Song Contest co-sponsored by CMT.
Lauren officially began her professional songwriting career in June of 2019, as she became the first signee to a joint venture between hit songwriter, Grammy® nominee, Warner Brothers Recording Artist, Brandy Clark, and Big Machine Music, the heralded, music publishing company which has been named to Billboard Top 10 Hot 100 and Country Music Publishing Corp for both 2017 and 2018.
