Eric Erdman is a guitar-slinging troubadour. His lyrics paint stories that are introspective and deep—quirky but palatable. His song “Stone’s Throw” is a hit for the Red Clay Strays and is featured on both the Strays’ Moments to Remember (RIAA Certified Gold) and Live at the Ryman albums, as well as on CBS’s hit show The Road. His song “Caddo County” (written with Dave Cobb and the Red Clay Strays) is featured on the 2025 Grammy-nominated and 2025 AMA-nominated Twisters soundtrack. With the fuel of both Southern rock and  country music influences pumping through his veins, it’s no surprise  that CJ Solar is a natural at fusing the two worlds. Russell Sutton, born and raised in Austin, TX, grew up around the country music scene with his dad playing guitar and tour managing for Rick Trevino. After graduating from Texas A&M and working at Dell Computers for six years, he moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue songwriting. In 2018, he signed his first publishing deal and toured with the duo Grassroots Revival, opening for artists like Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, and Brothers Osborne. As a songwriter, he achieved his first #1 single in 2021 with Elvie Shane’s “My Boy” and secured a joint venture publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and Droptine Publishing. In 2022, he had another #1 hit with Nate Smith’s “Whiskey on You” and cuts by Warren Zeiders, Drew Green, Dalton Dover, and Erin Kinsey. This year, Sutton has landed songs with Chris Young, Nate Smith, Kane Brown, and Morgan Evans. He resides in Nashville with his wife, Melissa, daughter Phoebe, and their dog Bubs.
