Americana
Mary Bragg
Mary Bragg
Americana
"Americana Queen" (Vice/Noisey) Mary Bragg has been heralded by Rolling Stone and NPR for her “gorgeously crafted and executed songs.” Nashville-based and originally from Swainsboro, Georgia, Bragg’s “exquisite vocal performances” (Folk Alley) pair well with her “refined, sumptuously melancholy take on Southern storytelling” (World Cafe). She’s been exploring love and its complications for much of her career now, wrestling with longing, desire, heartbreak, and insecurity across a string of widely lauded albums. NPR dubbed her breakout 2017 release, Lucky Strike, one of the year’s best, while her 2019 follow-up, Violets as Camouflage, earned similar raves, with the Nashville Scene calling it “magnificent” and Rolling Stone hailing its mix of classic country twang and gentle chamber-pop.
Her new EP, The Quiet One, follows her 2024 release Tie Me to You, and her 2022 self-titled album Mary Bragg, which marked the beginning of a particularly prolific chapter, writing and touring extensively while also producing albums for other artists (Grace Pettis, The Accidentals, Helena Hallberg, and Stephanie Sammons).

Country
Jobi Riccio
Jobi Riccio
Country
Jobi Riccio is a songwriter and performer based in Nashville, TN, originally hailing from the foothills of Colorado. Inspired by artists ranging from George Jones to Joni Mitchell, and the bluegrass community she came of age in, she writes songs that meld classic country sounds with modern sensibilities, aiming to turn classic tropes of the genre on its head.

Folk
Helena Hallberg
Helena Hallberg
Folk
Born to Swedish parents in Zurich, Switzerland, Helena Hallberg’s background is as distinct as her musical style. Using elements from Folk, Jazz and current musical trends, she seeks connection with her listener through stories centered around mental health, female empowerment and multiculturalism.
A trained jazz vocalist, Hallberg soon found her love for American folk music and instruments based in the tradition. Rarely seen without her Appalachian dulcimer Henrietta, she brings the instrument into the 21st century by weaving her catchy melodies into the musical fabric of her songs. Winner of the 2020 Indie International Songwriting contest, Hallberg’s writing has proved itself as unmistakable and universal.
“I know some people have millions of streams on Spotify, but I’ve convinced at least 6 people to buy a dulcimer, so that’s pretty good in my book” she says with a cheeky grin on her TikTok page, which she’s dedicated to doing just that. Hallberg’s debut album is set for release in 2023, and it’s likely to be a doozy. Taking inspiration from iconic artists like ABBA and Joni Mitchell, the album takes on the ambitious endeavor of connecting nostalgic sounds from the 70s with today’s popular production elements.

Alternative Folk
Liv Greene
Liv Greene
Alternative Folk
Liv Greene is a queer Americana singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN, whose music “envelops a forlorn loneliness that’s at once poignant and crushing.” - American Songwriter. Inspired by the records her parents played in her childhood home in DC—artists like Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, and Ella Fitzgerald— Greene’s passion for songs and storytelling started early and took off the moment she taught herself her first guitar chords at age 12.
Greene is an award-winning writer and performer. In 2019 alone, she won the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk Competition, and was first alternate in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Contest for Songwriters.
