Country
Lisa Carver
Lisa Carver
Country
Carver is one of the most respected and revered writers in Nashville. A lot of that has to due with the fact that not only can she write a hit for other artists, but she also writes absolutely astonishing songs from her heart and soul with not even the slightest nod to commercial viability. But that is what makes an artist an artist. Lisa Carver has harnessed and mastered the power of crafting a song that can hold an audience in awe with only a smoky sultry voice and an acoustic guitar.
Disillusioned with the formulaic norm on the commercial Nashville music scene, Carver was happy working and writing on the fringes while honing her songwriting craft. Over the years, Carver has developed an enormous respect and deep gratitude for the experiences that being a writer in Nashville has brought her. “To sit in a room with writers like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Jonathan Long and Don Schlitz, has made a tremendous impact on my artistic path,” reflects Carver. Adding, “Every day is another chance to get up and possibly write my own ‘Sunday Morning Coming Down.’”
Carver is a storyteller who breathes life in and out of the characters that inhabit her songs of love, heartache, longing, cheating and murder. She is one of the lucky ones getting to earn a living writing songs on Nashville’s famed Music Row. Carver has had songs cut by Jewel, Julie Roberts, Shelly Fairchild, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker and Willie Nelson, as well as Sugarland’s “Everyday America.”

Cheley Tackett
Cheley Tackett
Country
It only takes hearing Cheley Tackett once to understand why she is one of Nashville's most celebrated emerging artists. Cheley's blend of lyrical intensity and melodic craftsmanship have earned her recognition and respect in a town where being a stand-out is a rare achievement.
American Country Magazine suggests Cheley's song "Play the One I Like" "...might be the best song that I've heard this year so far" while Roughstock.com describes her as "...a remarkable vocalist....Imagine Allison Moorer's blissfully soulful voice and you've got yourself a good comparison for Cheley." Maverick, the UK's leading independent country music magazine has this to say about Cheley: "One of the most powerful, soulful singers in the business, she writes with the deep confidence and total abandon that only a true artist is capable of. She draws her listeners in with comfortable ease and offers each and every one an original and deep personal experience."
Acclaimed as much for her songwriting as for her artistry, Cheley has won Merlefest's Chris Austin Songwriting contest, the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk competition, Just Plain Folks' Song of the Year, Country Album of the Year, & Country Song of the Year, as well as being a finalist in the Independent Acoustic Music Awards' Country Song & Female Vocal Peformance categories, and a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition's Rock category.
Also a much sought-after demo singer on Music Row and beyond, Cheley's sultry voice and velvety moments are uniquely her own. It isn't fair to say that Cheley Tackett's appeal is limited to simply one genre - - she is gifted with cross-over potential that has hugely widened her audience. She has shared the stage with Americana powerhouses like Mindy Smith and Mary Gauthier as well as country stars Kathy Mattea, Chris Young, James Otto, and Anthony Smith and she has opened for acts ranging from country artist Doug Stone to 70s folk-rockers America.
Reese Wilson, Cheley's friend and #1 charting hit writer sums it up: "The first time I heard Cheley was around ten years ago at a writer's club in Nashville. I was instantly drawn to her voice. I've heard literally thousands of singers during my career as a songwriter/producer and I've heard a lot of very good singers. Every now and then however, you hear someone who REALLY makes you want to listen to what they're saying and Cheley does that. I'm definitely a fan and once you hear her, you will be too."

Music
Annie Mosher
Annie Mosher
Music
Kerrville New Folk award-winning singer/songwriter Annie Mosher grew up in the northernmost part of rural Vermont where she began writing songs as a child. She later travelled the country following the rodeo and writing music inspired by the souls she met and worked with from the Texas hill country to the mountains of Wyoming. Her song "Goldfish" was recently produced and recorded by British pop icon and Beatles producer Alan Parsons. She is a winner of the Texas Wildflower Music Festival, a beloved regular at Nashville's own Bluebird Cafe, and a longtime member of the sassy Nashville-based group Girls With Guitars. Annie is featured regularly at events sponsored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, as well as at clubs and festivals from The Cactus Cafe in Austin to Sundance beyond.
Wild and witty, provocative and poignant, Annie Mosher is an artist like no other. Ultimately, when it comes to describing the captivating presence that is Annie Mosher, words fail.

Alternative Folk
Helene Cronin
Helene Cronin
Alternative Folk
Texas artist, Helene Cronin, calls herself a story-singer. She shares her life through emotionally honest songwriting, inviting her listeners into the storybook. Her vulnerability and the intricate detail in her writing make her songs highly relatable to audiences. For Helene, this connection is vital.
A New Folk Winner at Kerrville Folk Festival, Helene's style is a merger between the raw roots of Americana and the polished song-craft of Nashville's Country. Never setting out to be a star, songwriting brought her to the stage. She possesses a voice as much a character as the ones that inhabit her songs.
Tonight Helene will be celebrating a song newly released on Ella Langley's DANDELION album. Other artists who have recorded her songs include Cody Johnson, Bryan Martin, Heidi Newfield, and Janelle Arthur w/ The Isaacs. She owns a home in Nashville, traveling here monthly, and is well-connected in this incomparable songwriting community, writing for and with other artists.
A prolific songwriter, Helene continues to record her own projects. Her third full-length record, MAYBE NEW MEXICO, was released in March 2025. Her absolute favorite venue to play is The Bluebird Cafe.
