Kostas Lazarides is a Greek-born American country music songwriter, known professionally as Kostas. He has written for many country music artists, including Dwight Yoakam, Patty Loveless, George Strait, and Travis Tritt, and has won eleven awards from Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI). In 2019, Kostas was inducted into the ‘Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame’.

James grew up on a farm in Kentucky and began coming to Nashville as a 10 year old to perform with Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff and many others. Since moving to Nashville, he has written songs for many many diverse artists. Charlie Daniels, Crystal Gayle, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Miley Cyrus, Aaron Neville, Reba McIntyre, Kenny Rogers, Alison Krause, Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys, Vince Gill, Lonestar & Wynonna just to name a few. He also had a huge hit as an artist himself with a number 1 video in Australia.

John Scott Sherrill is not one to sit quietly by, even  during a worldwide pandemic.  The hit songwriter returns on August 20 with a new EP, Copper Tears.
