Ticket reservations at The Bluebird Cafe are an agreement to pay the cover charge and applicable taxes/fees and to meet the $15.00 per seat food and/or drink minimum.

Ticket holders may cancel their reservation for a full refund of the ticket price and applicable tax (excluding ticketing fees) if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled showtime.     With his unique gift for finding the extraordinary in ordinary life, Chris Wallin has established himself as one of Nashville’s most sought-after songwriters.

    For years, Wallin has topped the charts with classics-in-the-making for the industry’s biggest stars: “Love Me If You Can” by Toby Keith, “Don’t Blink” by Kenny Chesney, ”People Loving People” by Garth Brooks, “I’m Tryin’” for Trace Adkins, “Something To Be Proud Of” and “Speed” by Montgomery Gentry and many more.

    Raised in the small town in East Tennessee Wallin was influenced by the likes of Jim Croce, James Taylor and Merle Haggard, as well as his own musical family – especially his mother, a singer herself. She recorded and performed in Nashville for a time. Him and his mother lived on top of a Honky Tonk on Broadway in Downtown Nashville called “The Turf”. Chris’s mother sang there at night .During the day Chris and his mother Joyce would go around the bars and restaurants in Music City with .45 records and jukebox inserts for her songs to try and get them to put her songs in their establishments. The experience made an indelible impression on the seven-year-old Chris.

    He began writing songs at age 12 and, perhaps inevitably, moved to Music City several years later, making the dues-paying rounds of writer’s nights and songwriting contests. He caught a break when his songs caught the ear of a small publishing company call King Lizard Music helping to launch him on a professional career that has led to award-winning collaborations with the Who’s who of songwriting royalty.

    Artists who have cut Chris’s songs include Lorrie Morgan, Garth Brooks, Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Kershaw, Tommy Shane Steiner, Trace Adkins, Michael Peterson, Anthony Smith, Jeffrey Steele, Confederate Railroad, Neal McCoy, Brian McComas, Brad Paisley, Joe Diffie, Diamond Rio, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and many many more.

    Since his first #1 in 1983, Hall of Fame Songwriter Bob DiPiero has been responsible for an uninterrupted string of country music hits. One of Nashville’s most prolific and consistent songwriters, Bob possesses a humble drive to keep learning and stay relevant. He has had over 1,000 songs recorded byother artists, countless hit singles, and an astounding 15 #1 hits. His songs have been featured in TV shows, commercials and movies. Among his countless awards are 50 BMI Million-Air honors, multiple Songwriter of the Year awards and 2 consecutive Triple Play awards for 3 #1 songs within a 12-month period. In 2007, Bob was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and Nashville’s Walk of Fame. In 2014, the Country Music Hall of Fame honored Bob with their prestigious “Poets and Prophets Series: Salute to Legendary Songwriter Bob DiPiero” and the Country Music Association also presented Bob with the CMA Chairman’s Award.     Tony Lane comes from the small town of Comanche, Texas.  He played the bars in Dallas-Ft. Worth and Colorado for many years before relocating to Nashville.   Signing with Famous Music (later acquired by Sony ATV) in 1997, Lane quickly had his first number one song, Lee Ann Womack’s “A Little Past Little Rock.”  He continued this run with George Strait’s “Run,” John Michael Montgomery”s “Letters From Home,” and the Grammy-nominated “I Need You” by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.  He has had cuts by Trace Adkins, Billy Currington, Randy Travis, Sara Evans, Tracy Lawrence and many others.  More recently he co-wrote Trace Adkin’s “This Ain’t No Love Song” and Lady Antebellum’s “Hello World”.  His song, “Roll with It”, became a No. 1 hit for Easton Corbin. He currently writes for BMG Music Nashville.
