Country
Barbara Cloyd launched her career playing covers in St. Louis before chasing her songwriting dreams to Nashville—a leap that paid off when Lorrie Morgan took her song “I Guess You Had to Be There” up the charts. As demand for her advice grew, Barbara discovered her real passion: mentoring songwriters. Through workshops and consultations, she has helped thousands hone their craft and navigate the music business, opening doors for many now-successful writers.
She has hosted the Open Mic at The Bluebird Cafe since it began, and is still amazed by the creativity and passion of the dreamers who come to be heard.
You can hear her EPs Drive and Simply Me on ReverbNation.
