EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

Experience live comedy like never before! Head to the Irvine Spectrum Center, top of Regal Parking Deck (5 Freeway side) to enjoy the nostalgia of a drive-in movie plus the hilarity of a live comedy show, all from the comfort of your own vehicle. Irvine Improv is bringing some of the biggest names in comedy-- right into your car stereo. Your favorite comedians will be larger than life, as their real-time performance is projected onto a 50-foot screen.

RULES & GUIDELINES: (If you do not follow these guidelines, you may be asked to leave.)

You must wear a mask when outside your vehicle as well as when visiting the restroom, restaurants, and retailers within Irvine Spectrum Center.

You must view the comedy show from within your vehicle or the bed of your truck.  

You must always practice physical distancing.

Event staff will be wearing personal protective equipment as required by CDC guidelines.

Restrooms will be available onsite (lower level of the parking structure). 

No outside alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, firearms, weapons or animals (except service animals) are allowed.

All vehicles are subject to search.


​BUY TICKETS ONLINE, IN ADVANCE:

In order to promote a contactless environment, there will be no onsite ticket sales or box office.  All tickets need to be purchased in advance and can only be purchased online. 

Tickets will be scanned when entering the parking structure. Please have tickets ready to scan.

Each ticket is valid for ONE car. The number of passengers must not exceed the number of safety belts/seats in your vehicle.

All tickets are first-come, first-parked and will not be assigned prior to arrival. Parking attendants will direct each driver to a parking space upon arrival.

Early arrival suggested.


MISCELLANOUS:

Concessions will be available for purchase.  No alcohol will be served.

The audio will be broadcast through  professional grade FM transmitter (radio.)  If you do not have an FM radio in your car, please bring a battery powered, portable one with you.

Improv and Irvine Spectrum Center assume no responsibility of injury, situations beyond our control or property damage. Please use common courtesy so everyone can enjoy the shows. Please follow all guidelines.  An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are gathered. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. People over the age of 65 and those with underlying medical conditions are considered high-risk.     Comedy

    Mitch Burrow is a Marine Corps Veteran that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He then started a career in manufacturing before realizing that it sucked. Now, Mitch has found his true calling in acting silly on a stage in front of strangers on a nightly basis.
    Mitch has appeared on the Fox shows Punchline and Laughs.

    Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, LARA BEITZ cut her teeth in the Chicago comedy scene before moving to LA and becoming the most talked about new addition to the legendary Comedy Store’s stable. Since becoming a regular, Lara has quickly gained fans from the top of the comedy world, including Judd Apatow, and Joe Rogan, who took to Instagram to call her “the real deal.” She gained more fans soon after by appearing on David Spade’s Comedy Central series LIGHTS OUT, which can be seen below.

    David Gborie is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comic, actor and writer originally from Denver, CO. David’s recent credits include AP BIO (NBC), NEW NEGROS (Comedy Central),  THOSE WHO CAN’T (truTV), THE UPSIDE WITH IAN KARMEL (Comedy Central Pilot) and ACTING OUT (MTV). David was selected as a New Face at the 2016 Just For Laughs Festival and one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch for the 2015 New York Comedy Festival. He has also appeared at The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF Indie Fest, Denver’s Too Much Funstival and the SF Punchline, among others. David has previously written for F-Comedy (Fusion's digital platform) and Ian Karmel’s Comedy Central sports pilot. He currently co-hosts the podcast All Fantasy Everything alongside Ian Karmel, which is available on iTunes. In 2019, David will record his first stand-up special for Comedy Central.

    Comedian Kellen Erskine has appeared on ConanJimmy Kimmel, NBC's America's Got Talent, and the Amazon Original Series Inside Jokes. He has garnered over 30 million views with his clips on Dry Bar Comedy. In 2018 he was selected to perform on the coveted “New Faces” showcase at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal--comedy's most prestigious event. Kellen was named one of TBS's Top Ten Comics to Watch in 2017, and he performed at the TBS New York Comedy Festival. He's appeared on nationally syndicated radio, including the Bob and Tom Show and Todd N Tyler. Kellen has been a finalist of both the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and the Great American Comedy Festival; he has also performed at the Bridgetown, Big Sky, and Boston Comedy Festivals.

    Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, actor and writer. Formerly an aerospace engineer at Boeing, Fahim traded the cubicle for the stage and has never looked back. His parents however plead with him to look back nearly every day. "Is comedy worth throwing your life away for?" Fahim says, yes! 
     
    Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a "Most Promising Future Star." He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Currently, Fahim is serving as head writer and starring on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW.

    Best known for his 3rd place appearance on season 4 of NBC's Last Comic Standing and his one-hour special 'Ugly & Angry' that was one of Netflix's top rated specials for three years, you may also know this Kansas City native from his very own Comedy Central Presents special, his comedy albums 'Lost & Alone' and 'Screaming From the Cosmos', his appearances on Tommy Chong's Comedy @ 420 on Showtime, the Arsenio Hall show, Comedy.TV, or your favorite local comedy club.

    Chris Porter is a simple man in a complicated world where dudes send pictures of their genitalia to women and burgers have a backstory. Born and raised in Kansas City, Chris brings a true stand-up experience to his live shows. There are no sound cues, no puppets, and no catch phrases. Just gut wrenching laughter drawn from his own experience and observations.

Therefore, without limitation, you hereby acknowledge and understand, even with certain safety measures that are implemented within the venue (i.e. social distancing, facial covering, etc.) that you could contract COVID-19 disease which could result in a serious medical condition requiring medical treatment in a hospital or could possibly lead to death.

Accordingly, you, knowingly and freely, assume all such COVID-19 related risks, both known and unknown, relating to your entry into the venue and your participation/attendance in this live event. And, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and your heirs, successors and assigns, hereby forever release, waive, relinquish, and discharge Owner, along with its parent(s), subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, successors and/or assigns, including without limitation, their respective officers, agents, employees, or other representatives (collectively, the “Owner Representatives”), from any and all COVID-19 related claims, demands, liabilities, rights, damages, expenses, and causes of action of whatever kind or nature, and other losses of any kind, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, (collectively, “Damages”) as a result of your entry to this venue and participation of this live event, including but not limited to personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, and including but not limited to claims based on the alleged negligence of any Owner Representative(s) or any other person related to COVID-19 sanitization.
