Horse Feathers is an indie-folk band founded in Portland, Oregon in 2004 by singer-songwriter Justin Ringle. Known for their lush string arrangements and Ringle's warm, vulnerable vocals, the band evolved from a sparse acoustic duo into a fuller folk-rock outfit.
The Hackles are a folk collaboration from Astoria, Oregon, the oldest settlement west of the Rockies, where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean.
The trio of Kati Claborn, Luke Ydstie, & Halli Anderson are slated to release their fourth full-length album I’ve Got Sugar, Who’s My Neighbor? in the fall 2026 on Jealous Butcher Records. The album was recorded primarily live at The Rope Room Studio in Astoria and departs from their previous two albums, A Dobritch Did as a Dobritch Should (2019) & What a Beautiful Thing I Have Made (2023), in its’ aim to capture the intimacy & energy of their live shows.
