Horizon Wireless blends psychedelic break-beat & house music with a variety of other styles including trip-hop, minimal tech-funk, and nu-jazz to create smooth, high energy, and soulful dance experiences for the inner alien in us all. Horizon has been on a cosmic roller coaster ride over the past five years… starting with humble beginnings in sorority basement parties and dive bars, and eventually piloting such notable spaceships as The Capitol Theatre, Irving Plaza, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Electric Factory and many more.

FutureType is the brainchild of producer Miles Felix, singer Chris Bruffee, and rapper DJC. Stumbling across a buried cadre of beats produced by Miles years ago, the longtime friends from Montpelier, VT, and Brooklyn were inspired to bring the music to life. Assembling a crew of talented NYC-based musicians, they sought to bridge the gap between dance-inducing DJ-Electronica and animated full band performances. Now, FutureType's potent sound comes from driving beats laid down by live drums; sharp horn lines; funktastic guitar; soulful vocals; and crisp rapping. Notable gigs include Mercury Lounge, Brooklyn Bowl, DROM, Brooklyn Bazaar, Friends and Lovers, and the legendary underground institution Rubulad.
