Holy Smoke Show is a rock duo who stands for equality, justice, and bringing power to the people. It is the brainchild of frontman Couper King, who wrote, recorded, and edited all of the songs himself. Couper also directed and edited the official music videos, as well as the album art. Mixed by Casey Sabol (formerly of Periphery) and mastered by Eric Hill (The Blue Room, Nashville), Holy Smoke Show’s first single, ‘Business is Booming’, delivers a powerful message reminiscent of Rage Against the Machine with the angsty theatrics of My Chemical Romance. Though only a duo, Holy Smoke Show makes a lot of noise and has something to say: All People Shall Be Free. When asked about his unique name, frontman Couper King says, “it means ‘to kill your master’, whether that’s addiction, economic oppression, depression or a tyrannical system. I just want people to be free”. Drummer Marty Fore has a similar name sake. He was named after the American Civil Rights Icon, Martin Luther King Jr. Recently signing with Curtain Call Records, expect to see and hear a lot from Holy Smoke Show soon.
