If you were to sit down with Ryan Beaver for a casual conversation, within minutes you would realize that Ryan’s music is a transparent representation of who he is to the core: humble, levelheaded, genuine. He’s a deeply rooted family guy from a small town in Northeast Texas, who set aside his marketing degree from Texas State, and discovered himself in the artistic community of Austin. “I’ve grown up my entire life with music,” Ryan explains. “Singing...playing drums, piano, guitar. Music was something I couldn’t shake.” Within the span of a few short years, he wrote and independently released 2008‘s Under the Neons and 2011’s Constant.

To help promote the albums, he found himself amidst an intense, year round touring schedule, headlining his own club shows across the Southwest and sharing the stage with Gary Allan, Robert Earl Keen, Josh Turner, and Randy Rogers Band. “I didn’t have anything figured out. It was a grassroots effort, but doors continue to open, and opportunities have developed into a career,” Ryan reveals. Constant spawned his first music video “How About You” (featured on CMT Pure, CMT.com, Yallwire.com, etc) and his highest charting single “Hate”, which earned him placement on multiple year-­‐end review lists. This mass exposure helped to solidify Ryan as a critic favorite. He has been featured in national publications like Country Weekly and American Songwriter, and has appeared on multiple major market television morning shows such as Good Day Dallas and Great Day San Antonio.

While staying busy with a hectic touring and media schedule, Ryan also maintains a thriving songwriting career in Nashville. As a songwriter for worldwide publishing house, HoriPro Entertainment Group, Beaver has found himself amongst his heroes. He’s collaborated with legendary songwriter Dean Dillon (“The Chair”, “Ocean Front Property”), the prolific award-­‐winning Jessi Alexander (“The Climb”, “Drink On It”), and Grammy-­‐nominated Ryan Tyndell (“Springsteen”). His passion and talent constantly earns him the respect of his fellow artists and songwriters, many of whom have recorded Ryan’s work.

Even with all of the overwhelming praise, Ryan remains committed to cultivating his craft while preparing to record his long-­‐awaited third album. In a recent interview with Country Weekly Ryan said, “As a writer and artist, you have to progress.” He pauses before he goes on to say, “I guess you don’t have to, but for a guy like me I’ve never been good at staying in one place. Complacency scares me. I think you’ve got to keep pushing because that’s when all the amazing stuff happens.” For this undeniably gifted entertainer, and with that creative outlook...the “amazing stuff” is bound to happen. 

Matt Stell’s own words about how he sees himself as an artist are revealing—and when you attend one of his shows or listen to his music for the first time, you soon come to appreciate his love of writing and performing music.

Whether it’s on stage opening for the biggest country acts of the last decade (Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Gary Allan, Jason Isbell, Jake Owen, Easton Corbin, Eli Young Band, Casey Donahew, etc.) or performing in a local bar with just a mic, guitar, and hard-earned songs, one thing is clear; Matt Stell is his own kind of real.  Equal parts songwriter and entertainer, Matt is an artist who succeeds in drawing people to his music. He creates songs that you feel are written and performed by the kind of guy you want to party with.  

Matt’s love for music runs deep, “I know the strong reaction I have when a song really hits home.  Nothing else feels that way.  When I first heard Randy Travis singing He Walked on Water, Bonnie Raitt’s recording of Papa Come Quick, or DBT [Drive-by Truckers] doing Zip City, I kind of knew that I wanted to be part of something that can affect people the way these songs affected me. . .it just took me a while to get up the courage to actually write and perform.”

Born in Central Arkansas and raised there as well as Central Florida, Matt’s path to making music was unconventional for sure.  Before The Sound and the Story, Vestibule Blues, and A River Through It were written and recorded, Matt’s main focus was sports and specifically basketball.  He was offered an Athletic Scholarship to Drury University and was a team captain and four-year letterman.  Little did anyone know that heading to Springfield, MO would set in motion that string of events that put Matt in the spotlight.

College basketball is a winter sport which means the season extends through the Christmas holiday break.  After fall finals, the only responsibilities a player has revolve around training, practice, and games.  This leaves some free time, and this free time ultimately led to the musical path Stell chose.  “I was sitting in my dorm bored and sore one day after practice.  For some reason I remembered that my mom had gotten me a guitar when I was about ten, and for some reason I thought I maybe could learn to play it during all this downtime.  I called her and asked her if she remembered if it was still in a closet somewhere.  She looked, found it under some coats or something, and brought it to me when she came up to watch us play.  Everyday after practice I sat in front of a computer and tried to play songs from guitar tab websites.  I learned chords as I needed them to play my favorite Merle Haggard, Skip James, Pat Green and Skynyrd Songs.”

“As soon as I had a handful of chords learned I started to try my hand at writing songs.  Not long after that, I started playing those songs out live at a place called the Snorty Horse Saloon that catered to live original country music—What I quickly learned was called Texas, Red Dirt, and/or Americana music.  From then on I was hooked.  I wrote songs, learned new ones, and played shows under a pseudonym so my basketball coach wouldn’t know I was moonlighting as a singer/songwriter.  When I graduated and moved to Fayetteville, AR for graduate school I kept at it.  By the time I finished my Master’s degree, I had cut a record and was touring fairly regularly—with a newly formed band—to support it.”

Along the way, Matt wrote songs with artists like Casey Donahew, Bart Crow, and John D. Hale Band. They put these songs on their CDs, and, in some cases, released them as radio singles.  Whiskey Baby and Small Town Love, two songs co-written with Casey Donahew, both reached number one on the Texas regional radio charts.

Following through on the success of these songs and other music he released, Matt decided to make the move to Nashville to pursue writing and making music at the highest level. When he’s not playing shows across the South and Midwest, Matt currently spends most of his time writing songs for himself and other artists.  His attention to the craft of songwriting, sharpened by the hard lessons learned from years of extensive touring, combine to make his shows a blast and one of the real reasons that Matt’s songs truly matter to people.  “Nothing is better than writing music that moves people.  To watch people having a ball and singing the very words to the songs you wrote, is unlike anything else I know.  I’m drawn to the cycle of making music I care about and entertaining people with it.” 

Matt continues to write and tour.  Country Love Song--the recently-released first single off his untitled new project, comes complete with a music video that can be viewed on this site. “I’m so excited to release new music. I feel like these fresh new songs are the best I’ve ever written and I can’t wait to share them,” he says.  Look for his eagerly anticipated new project slated for full release in late 2016.

Tim Gent is an artist/songwriter from Clarksville, Tennessee who has been making a name for himself since the release of his 2015 mixtape 'Clarksville Nights'. Tim continued seeing success with the release of his first fully-distributed single Lady America (feat. Drisana DeSpain). The track garnered heavy attention across many online outlets and charted #1 on Spotify's United States Viral 50.

After spending 2017 releasing a string of singles, Tim started seeing even more of an online buzz, which led to features from Hot New Hip Hop, Sway's Universe, The Tennessean, and a full length interview with NPR: World Cafe.

Tim crushed 2018 releasing a consistent flow of new music for his fans, beginning with the release of his full-length, jazz influenced project titled Life Away From Home, which was named Best Hip Hop Project of 2018 by Nashville Scene. Tim celebrated the release with local fans in a packed out show at Nashville's famous Exit In. This attention spread throughout the region allowing Tim to open up for multiple major artists, including Wu-Tang, Rakim, Goodie Mob, EARTHGANG and Playboi Carti, as well as partner with Red Bull and super producer Tay Keith for a sold-out industry showcase in Nashville.

In 2019, Tim explored many different writing sessions in multiple genres to not only sharpen his own craft, but also to potentially write for other artists. It was this process and his love for writing that led to Tim signing with Prescription Songs publishing team and having two of his LAFH singles featured in film The Violent Heart (Mary J. Blige).

2020/2021 definitely had its challenges (to say the least), but Tim continued to persevere and push forward, releasing his first body of work since LAFH titled In Every Fall. This EP is a compilation of emotions and thoughts that stemmed from trials and tribulations faced over the last several years. It was well received, from having his single A New Day featured as ESPN's song of the month alongside Run The Jewels, to landing on multiple editorial playlists and coverage from several local outlets, including Nashville Scene and Kazi Magazine. In the midst of releasing his own project, Tim proceeded to prove his versatility with his pen, writing for Simon Cowell's global pop group Now United as well as landing several film/tv placements including: Frito-Lay (Super Bowl LV), Fox Sports (MLB World Series), ACC Network and Grey's Anatomy.
