HIJINX
Based in Santa Cruz, Hijinx formed in 2018 as a college garage band. Hijinx was not a culmination of local musicians, but rather a group of best friends. Inspired by the rich local Santa Cruz reggae scene, the band set forth learning their instruments with dreams of sharing the stage with some of their local heroes someday. The band has successfully made a name for themselves in the Santa Cruz reggae scene as well as up and down the coast of California. Hijinx blends influences from reggae, ska, punk rock, and metal for an overall high energy, upbeat sound. The band consists of Mason Borreson on Guitar, keys, and vocals, Andrew Furtado on bass, Beau Kittleson on guitar and vocals, and Dominic Churchill on drums.
LOT 49
Lot 49 is a reggae-inspired alternative-indie pop band hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their genre draws on influences from reggae artists such as Iration and Rebelution, as well as R&B/pop-driven styles like Post Malone, & Khalid. Since forming in 2018, they have released a full-length album, as well as numerous singles, and have seen their stream numbers steadily increase every month. Having opened for established artists such as HIRIE, The Ries Brothers, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds, as well as making an appearance at Dry Diggings 2022. Lot 49 is eager to continue pushing forward the new wave of reggae music, and expand on an already solid foundation.
DUB SOULJAH
Dub Souljah is a reggae/hip hop band from the Central Coast California. Their blend of roots rock, reggae and hip hop make for a soulfully conscious message of truth, rights and justice.
