In celebration of High Fidelity for the 25th anniversary, Chicago-Based Eclectic Cover Band, SOUNDTRACK SERENADE will be REUNITING to perform the movie's soundtrack live at the glorious Shack in Reggies. Soundtrack Serenade is part “live-music party” and part “game show” for fans of cinema and the classic songs that establish the backdrop for a compilation of the best movies of all time. A collection of some of Chicago’s finest jazz and rock musicians perform a movie soundtrack - all the songs that are on the soundtrack as well as choice cuts from the movie that didn’t make the record are performed while the movie is shown on screen. In-between songs, the band conducts trivia (from the performed movie) for the crowd to win prizes such as delicious shots of Malort. Other gems include pints of beer served in pint glasses or something similar, legal advice from the Saloon's owner, some 70s things, umbrellas, DVDs and leftover items from last summer.
