HELLBOUND GLORY

Hellbound Glory is an American country band that was formed in Reno, Nevada in 2008. The band is known for their hard-hitting, whiskey-fueled lyrics that draw from traditional country, rock and roll, and punk rock influences. The band's founder and frontman, Leroy Virgil, has been described as a "modern-day Hank Williams Sr." and a "true country outlaw."

Hellbound Glory's debut album, "Scumbag Country," was released in 2010 and was praised by critics for its honest and gritty lyrics. The band's follow-up album, "Damaged Goods," was released in 2011 and featured the hit single "Better Hope You Die Young."

Over the years, Hellbound Glory has toured extensively and built a loyal fanbase with their high-energy live shows. The band has shared the stage with acts such as Guns n Roses, Kid Rock, Leon Russell, and ZZ Top. In 2013, they released their third album, "LV," which was recorded in Virgil's hometown of Aberdeen Wa.

Despite the band's underground following and critical acclaim, they have struggled to gain mainstream success. However, they continue to release music that is true to their roots and have remained a favorite among fans of outlaw country and punk rock.

DAVID ROSALES

“…invoking elements of R&B, gospel, rock, and western influences to dust things up with a helping of soulful grit.”
– PopMatters

Brave Ones, is a vibrant display of the band’s love for country, Americana, folk and R&B music, and those elements are wonderfully combined together for an immersive new roots music experience.”
– OC Weekly

“…it’s impossible to deny the warmth and ease of the lyrics, vocals and music.  Rosales seems to be coming from a place of deep content and shining optimism…”
