Shortly after nationally signed band Oblivious Signal disbanded in 2018, Vocalist Cristina T. Feliciano started the group HELIVS (pronounced He-Lee-Us). In her many years in the music industry, Cristina had toured and played national festivals such as Warped Tour, Rock Fest (WI), opened up for nationals such as Buckcherry and many more.  She was also a guest vocalist in the band Soil's (Halo, Break me Down) music video which was a rendition of the the song "Gimme Some Lovin" by The Blues Brothers.  During this time touring the USA, she met Frank Facciolli who had played bass for artists such as Alecia Keys, Jeremy Camp, and Seventh Day Slumber. After filling in on national tour dates for OS, Cristina and Frank decided to create a project of their own one day. Naturally when creating HELIVS Frank filled the bassist position first, followed by guitarist Brandon Benitez. Brandon's background in classical and technical music paired perfectly with the vision of HELIVS. The band was rounded off perfectly, with drumming powerhouse Robert Rogers who Cristina had played with on previous tours. 

We are Reason|Define, an all female hard rock/metal band based in Charlotte, NC. If you are a fan of catchy rock-style riffs, powerful melodic vocals, and breakdowns then you have come to the right place! Our favorite artists are all over the map, which builds a diverse foundation to our unique sound. Some of our favorite bands are Tonight Alive, Every Time I Die, State Champs, Beartooth, A Day to Remember and Phinehas to name a few. One of the things we strive for as a band is to have a fantastic live show. We put on a super high energy live show that keeps our fans coming back for more!  After winning the 2016 award for Best Rock Band of the Year at the Carolina Music Awards, we released our debut album Far From Strangers in March of 2017. Since then we have played shows in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana. We ended 2018 strong by releasing our first single from our second album, In Memory…, on October 26th called Pointing Fingers. On March 1st, 2019 we released our sophomore album In Memory… and went on a release tour. This summer we are hitting the road again, so be on the look out for dates near you! 

The Iron Gates was started by Brandon and Matt back in 2009, which soon after added Derek Mitchell to the roster for a few years. Derek parted ways years later to focus on time with family, and some time after him departing found Brian Nichols and Dustin Savage to join up! In-between all the board games and video games, new inspiration was found and burned in us all to get this band underway! Thus a name was born and The Iron Gates were eager to continue to find the one last missing element, a drummer. We still search for the right component and fit for the group! Join us in this awesome journey of music!
