Since the inception of CLIFFHANGER in September of 2012, the band has been working relentlessly to evolve their sound, attract new fans, and expose their music to everyone. After writing 2 angsty, catchy, and aggressive EPs with Michael Govaere (ex-Every Avenue) at Downbeat Studio, CLIFFHANGER won a spot on the Milwaukee Vans Warped Tour from the Ernie Ball’s Battle of the Bands in 2015. The quintet also put out a music video for their song “Halfway Through” via No Anchor.
Looking to start a new chapter after the 2015 Warped Tour, CLIFFHANGER searched for a new singer. The band reached out to long-time friend, Evan West, and began writing songs together. “Barbed Wire Bat” was the first song the new lineup wrote and it encapsulates the excitement, catchiness, and energy of pop punk. The band will self-release a music video for it in March 2017.
CLIFFHANGER is ready for 2017 with a new singer, a new, song, and a new music video. The band will be recording a new EP with West in the spring of 2017. Be on the lookout for when the band hits the road. Their single “Barbed Wire Bat” will be available online on 03/24/17. Merch and previous EPs can be found on Bandcamp or Big Cartel.
