    gaining fans thanks to their captivating live show. Pre-Quarantine had the band all over the country on
    festival bills like Firefly Music Festival, Bunbury Music Festival, and Summerfest. After garnering the
    attention of SiriusXM's Alt Nation and BBC’s Radio1, the band will hit this year hard with the new track,
    The Moxie.
    THE ORPHAN THE POET has been seen topping playlists like Spotify’s The New Alt + New Music
    Friday, Apple Music’s Breaking Alternative, Youtube’s Alternative Hot List, and recently received
    support from KROQ in Los Angeles as well as alternative stations like Radio104.5 in Philadelphia, WEBN
    in Cincinnati, & DC101 in Washington, DC.

With a blend of indie rock, alternative and pop described by the band as "Festivalcore," Southcourt's music invokes live energy, vivid imagery, and shared euphoria reminiscent of artists like Sam Fender, The 1975 and Bleachers.

    “Mosant released the double-single “Critical” / “(Not the) Only One” in 2022. Coalescing into its current configuration in the spring of that year, the band shifted into a rich collaborative mode, finding beautiful common ground and compelling friction in a four-way partnership that mischievously mashes buzzy power-pop hooks, prog-rock left turns, bighearted soul, and sumptuous harmonies. The resulting debut, Midnight Television, recorded at Cincinnati’s Marble Garden with Isaac Karns, perfectly captures the spitfire energy of a young band while confidently absorbing 60 years of pop music. Mosant’s debut LP, Midnight Television was released May 3rd, 2024 via SofaBurn Records.”
